1. Create a team
Under Account → Team, give the team a name. Move connections, folders and snippets from your vault into it with "Move to team", or create new ones right in the team.

2. Invite colleagues
By e-mail address, with a role. They join with their Termax account; once your device has unlocked them (that happens automatically), they see the entries on all their devices.
3. Work together
When someone changes a password or a jump host, everyone has it after the next sync. When someone leaves, remove them: the entries disappear from their devices and the team key is renewed.

Creates, changes and deletes connections, folders and snippets – for everyone in the team.

What the server sees
- Team name, members and roles – so it can check invitations and rights.
- Encrypted entries, their type and when they changed.
- The log: who invited, unlocked or changed an entry when, without any content.
What the server never sees
- Hosts, user names, passwords, keys and snippets of the team.
- The team key. It is wrapped for every member with their own key (X25519) and only unwrapped on their devices.
- Your terminal sessions. The apps still connect straight to your servers.
So that nobody can slip in a foreign key, Termax shows a safety code for every member. Compare it once on the phone, then you know the credentials only reach you. Someone who leaves gets no new entries; change what they already knew, as with any departure. Companies get a data processing agreement (German); the server is in Germany.

Frequently asked
Does every member need an account?
Yes, a free Termax account with a confirmed e-mail address. The invitation goes to that address.
What happens to my own vault?
Nothing. Team entries sit in their own section of the sidebar; your vault stays private. Moving works both ways.
And when the subscription ends?
The team stays with all its entries. If it has more members than the two free seats, it becomes read-only until you book seats or remove members.
Is Termax Team sold through Google Play?
No, you buy it on the website, in the Windows app or at app.termax.app. Every member can use the team in the Android app too.
