Termax as a WinSCP alternative – common questions

Does Termax replace WinSCP for SFTP transfers?
Yes. Termax ships with a full SFTP file manager: browse remote directories, upload and download files with progress, drag-and-drop, edit remote files, and manage permissions – the same tasks WinSCP is used for. The difference is you don't need to switch to a separate terminal app for command-line work: SSH terminal and SFTP live side by side in the same window and share the same connection.
Why use Termax instead of WinSCP + PuTTY?

No - WinSCP is a Windows-only program and has no Linux build. On a Linux desktop the usual answers are the built-in sftp command, FileZilla, or mounting the remote host with sshfs. Termax has no native Linux app either, but its browser version gives you a real terminal on any Linux machine with no installation, which covers the case where you are on someone else's box or cannot install software.
What is the WinSCP equivalent on macOS?
There is no WinSCP for macOS. Mac users typically reach for Cyberduck, ForkLift or the sftp command in Terminal. Termax does not ship a native macOS app, but Quick Connect runs in Safari or Chrome and gives you a full terminal in a tab - useful on a Mac you do not administer. For file transfer on macOS a native client will still serve you better.
Can I use WinSCP on my phone?
